The end of the week is here again, the fridge and freezer are starting to get bare, we’ve all been there right? It’s still simple to create a great tasting meal using whatever you have left. Today i’ve made a surf and turf stir fry where I am using the left over ingredients from my previous recipes! Without further ado, let’s get to it!

What ingredients do I need?

Beef strips (roughly 200g per person, appetite depending!)
Prawns (roughly 5 prawns per person, appetite depending!)
Salt & pepper
Garlic granules (several shakes, around half a table spoon)
Soy Sauce (roughly half a cup per person)
1 chicken stock cube
1 fish stock cube
Chilli flakes (several shakes)
Broccoli
Red Pepper
Rice (roughly 90g per person, appetite depending!)

What do I need to do?
As i’m using left overs I don’t have stir fry strips of meat so I had to cut my beef into strips, and then put in a wok covered in oil at a medium heat, also put in your prawns too. Then add salt and pepper.

Next up add a good sprinkle of garlic granules, and add a good amount of soy sauce, enough for it to incase the meat and fish. Then add a fish and chicken stock cube to the mix.

This is now a good time to put your rice on a boil, next add broccoli, chilli flakes, sliced peppers
and several shakes of ground ginger.

Keep stirring and cooking the stir fry until the rice is ready and then serve!
