Nate’s Duck & Beef Stir Fry Recipe

print
I’ve seen beef and duck are both popular meats for stir fry’s but i’ve never seen them used together in the same stir fry. So today I present my Duck & Beef stir fry, i’ve created a sauce which I believe compliment both meats really well and the difference of taste and texture really works together.

Without further-a-do i’ll get straight to the recipe as that’s why you’re here right!?

What ingredients do I need?

The following ingredients will serve two people.

For the sauce
4 tablespoons soy sauce.
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon dark brown sugar.
2 teaspoons white vinegar.
2 table spoons of ground garlic
2 tablespoons vegetable oil.
1 teaspoon of hot chilli oil
1/8 teaspoon black pepper.

Stir fry ingredients
200g of beef strips
200g of duck strips
1 small pack of egg noodles
Several sprigs of white sprouting broccoli
Several sprigs of purple sprouting broccoli
A small handful of samphire
4-5 birds eye chillies

Great i’ve got those ingredients, what do I need to do?

First add your 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil into a wok and put it at a medium-high heat,
then put your beef and duck strips into the wok.

Keep cooking and stirring until both meats have little to no pink on them, then add the soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, garlic, white vinegar, chilli oil and black pepper

Cook and stir for 5-8 minutes and then add all the vegetables, keep stirring and cooking for another 5-8 minutes.

Then add your cooked egg noodles into the wok and stir cook for another 5 minutes.

And that’s it we’re done, enjoy!

Yum
