Nate’s Wrapable Yeastless Flatbreads Recipe

print
Wraps make a great lunch, but a freshly made wrapable flatbread makes the ultimate lunch, and it is pretty simple to do, and you can put anything in it, I had chicken, bacon and garlic mayo which I made by mixing mayonaise and garlic granules.

So what ingredients do I need for these flatbreads?

The below quantities will allow you to make 4 flatbreads:
200g flour
60g butter
1/2 table spoon salt
Roughly 3/4 of a cup of milk
Cooking oil.

Great i’ve got those ingredients, how do I make them?

Start by putting the butter and flour in a mixing bowl, then add the salt, then mix into a breadcrumb texture:

Next add small amounts of milk at a time and mix each time until you have a non dough, if it’s sticky add a bit more flour. Then wrap in plastic wrap / clingfilm and leave for for 30 minutes.

Break the ball into 4 smaller balls, and roll each out with a rolling pin, while doing this add a covering of oil to a griddle and set to a medium-high heat. Once you’ve rolled out the 4 flatbread add the first to the griddle, occasionally move in the pan, when it feels stiffer then it’s time to flip it!

Once both sides are done, you’re done, add what ever filling you want and enjoy!
